The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the official notification for the recruitment of Forest Rangers under the Environment & Forests Department, Assam. 🎓 Educational Qualification
Graduation in Science or Engineering with any one of the following subjects:
- Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Computer Applications/Computer Science
- Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical/Civil/Computer/Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical)
- Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture
- Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology
🎯 Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: 3 Years
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 Years
🏠 Residentship & Other Criteria
- Must be an original inhabitant of Assam
- Must have Employment Exchange Registration in Assam
- Declaration in Form-A on Small Family Norms is required
